Boat rides are an entirely different experience than walking on the ghats and in the alleys. It's like being transported to another world, where the gentle waves of the Ganges lull you into a peaceful trance. The serenity and tranquility are unmatched.
Unprofessional late-night arrival arrangements.

Mother Hostel provided a welcoming atmosphere close to key landmarks like the Nepali Temple and the Ganges River, enhancing our family exploration. the relaxation facilities promoted bonding, while the friendly hosts enriched our experience with local insights. the guide service slightly pressured us into unnecessary purchases. Despite this, the overall stay was memorable and enjoyable.

Explored ancient Buddhist sites, saw amazing temples built by various countries, and had a unique boat ride experience. witnessed "mind dissolution" during meditation and felt like I traveled back in time in Banarsi.
Loved every single thing, couldn't find a single flaw in the whole experience. Absolutely perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Mother Hostel in Varanasi. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the lively Ganga gath. The hostel itself is quiet and provides a peaceful retreat, especially during the night. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the room was spacious. Gaurav and his family, who run the hostel, were incredibly kind and helpful. They made us feel like we were at home and were always available to assist us with anything we needed, from arranging tours to providing information about the city. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Mother Hostel for an unforgettable stay in Varanasi.
Nothing that I didn't like. 😊

The hostel is conveniently located just a short walk away from the Ganga river, making it easy to catch the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The family-run establishment offers clean rooms with modern amenities, including toilet paper and towel service. They also provide tours to explore hidden temples and streets, offering a unique experience. You can exchange dollars directly at the hostel, saving you time and hassle. The hostel also offers laundry services and the option to have meals on-site.
Some guests had issues with the hospitality and encountered difficulties with billing.

The location of the hostel was great, just a short walk to the river and the ghats. It was convenient to be able to explore the area on foot. , the family who owns the hostel were very friendly and hospitable. They made us feel welcome and even offered to take us on a tour of the city and the ghats. It was a great way to see places we wouldn't have found on our own.
One thing to note is that the hostel is located in a difficult-to-access area. It took us a long time to reach the hostel, and even when we left to go to the airport, the car had to be parked far away.
